Public Works, Certified Payroll, and Prevailing Wages – Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, & Conejo Valley Public Works Landscape Contractor/Construction

Scarlett’s Landscape, Inc. has the experience and the knowhow to successfully take on and complete public works projects! We’re one of the few landscape contractors in or around Ventura County who can do this, and here’s why!

Public Works Experience

We’ve partnered up with the City of Ventura, Ventura Unified School District, and Calleguas Municipal Water District to help bid on a number of Public Works Projects. Our most recently completed project was at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. We did everything from repairing asphalt roadways, to moving 80′ tall Canary Island Palms, to constructing walls and ramps, to installing new irrigation and plantings. When dealing with public works projects, we know how the process works and we know how to get the job done right the first time!

Certified Payroll & Prevailing Wage

We’re one of the only landscape contractors in the area who has the resources, knowledge and experience to do certified payroll. All public works projects require that workers be paid prevailing wages while working on the project, as specified by the State of California. Another requirement is to provide proof that prevailing wages were indeed paid through the process of certified payroll. Don’t worry, we can do it and we’ve got you covered!

Work Area

Whether you’re in Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, or West Los Angeles County, we can get the job done! We cover a large area that includes Calabasas and Malibu in the South and Ojai and Goleta in the North! From those points, to everything in-between, is Scarlett’s territory.

We’re Local

We’re a family owned business based in Ventura, California. We grew up and continue to reside in the areas that we serve such as Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village. We take pride in our work and the beauty and value it provides to our community!
