This is a landscape and design project we completed in Camarillo on a beautiful property backing a barranca and a golf course beyond. At the design meeting, the customers expressed a desire for a fenced in lawn area and playground where they could turn their kids loose and still have room for native plantings, trees, and raised gardens. We were able to make their dreams come true and add flagstone paths to connect all the different areas. Watering is controlled by a top-of-the-line, weather controlled, Rainbird Smart irrigation system and drainage is handled thorugh a series of catch basins. We planted avocaods on the back slope and many other fruit trees in the mini-orchard on the side of the house. Playground chips were added for a future swingset and gopher meshing was laid beneath the new lawn. Follow the link to see the pics!
